Gas Line Installation in the Lower Mainland

Describe the installation clearly
Give contractors the property address, appliance model, intended location and renovation drawings. Identify whether the job involves an existing building, an addition or outdoor equipment. Photos can help explain the request but do not replace a site assessment.
Make the quote comparable
Ask for separate explanations of piping work, appliance connection, any venting changes, electrical coordination and finishing repairs. Identify assumptions about access and concealed conditions. Agree how discoveries during the work will be priced before they become additional charges.
Confirm the authority and handover
Permit administration varies within BC. Ask the contractor which authority handles your address and who is responsible for the permit process. Request the applicable completion documents, the appliance instructions and a record of the work carried out. Keep unresolved items on a written list with an agreed follow-up date.
